Subdivisions with Character
Aside from our city's award-winning school systems and the beautiful, historic downtown area, the subdivisions are another asset that make Naperville such a sought-after city to reside in. While some neighborhoods are known for their attractive landscapes, others are recognized for their amenities such as clubhouses and swimming pools. Whatever the perks may be, we've come up with a list of some of the great neighborhoods in town. HERE'S OUR LIST OF 7 SPECTACULAR SUBDIVISIONS WITH CHARACTER…
1. Steeple Run
Developed in 1972, Steeple Run is filled with average-sized homes of exceptional value. Located between the City of Naperville and the Village of Lisle, Steeple Run features 19 acres of common area for recreational activities including a clubhouse, swimming pool and tennis courts. Steeple Run is also home to a first-rate District 203 elementary school - Steeple Run Elementary.
2. White Eagle Club
Located off Route 59, White Eagle Club officially opened its gates in 1989 and marked the beginning of the South Naperville boom. Known for their gorgeous 8,000 sq.ft. clubhouse and stunning private golf course built by the famous Arnold Palmer, White Eagle is one of the most desirable real estate locations in town.
3. Downtown Naperville
Home to both remodeled luxuries and old fashioned gems, downtown Naperville is the definition of character and originality. Homes here are surrounded by the wonderful history of Naperville. In just a short walk, residents will come across a myriad of restaurants and shops, beautiful parks, historic statues and more!
4. Cress Creek
Built around three beautifully landscaped lakes and near the McDowell Forest Preserve, the North Naperville subdivision of Cress Creek is actually three conjoined neighborhoods, making up one community. Known as one of the original golf communities of Naperville, Cress Creek Estates, Cress Creek Commons and Creekside are all ideal places for both singles and families.
5. Century Hill
Built in two different phases, the over 50-year-old Century Hill subdivision provides a refreshing mix of both older and newer homes. Not only is Century Hill located just down the street from the charming historic Naperville Country Club, it's also the location of the highly acclaimed Southeast Alternative School, a program of the School Association for Special Education in DuPage County.
6. Hobson West
Formerly radiating a country-like feel, Hobson West is now known for its breathtaking scenery of preserved trees and natural landscape. As part of the District 203 school system and in close proximity to downtown Naperville and Knoch Park (Naperville's hot spot for Little League baseball), Hobson West has all the amenities a family could ask for.
7. Knoch Knolls
This prestigious subdivision is nestled between Knoch Knolls Park and The McDonald Farm, home of The Conservation Foundation, at a bend of the DuPage River. Springbrook Elementary School, located within the subdivision, is within easy walking distance from all homes and the Knoch Knolls Homeowners Association works to bring the neighbors together by hosting various social events throughout the year.
